Genealogy and Family History Research Services
Hiring a professional genealogist is just a few easy clicks away. Here’s what you need to know.
What I Offer
Genealogical research is as unique as each client is. Here are some examples of things I can work on:
Citizenship by descent.
Uncovering unknown parents or ancestors using DNA results on Ancestry.com or 23 and Me.
Lineage societies.
Immigrant journeys or unknown ethnic origins.
Tree building or verification.
Visiting local cemeteries and archives (I’m in Maine and serve the wider New England region!)
Individual brick walls.
My work adheres to the Genealogical Standard of Proof. My clients and the work I conduct on their behalf remains completely confidential.
Many people feel overwhelmed before hiring a professional—don’t be. My goal is to make sure you find the answers you’re looking for and understand more about your family and ancestry. Remember: knowing our origins is a basic human right.
-
I will conduct an advanced search in this two-hour block. For more complex cases I can assess the scope of your project, outline the a path for the research needed, and propose a path forward in the form of a written report. 30 minute Zoom included.
-
Book time for a lengthier project in which you anticipate needing more extensive research. Deliverables might include a family tree, descendancy chart or pedigree, a written report on a specific ancestor, or seeking and retrieving specific records for citizenship cases.
-
A larger project block appropriate for citizenship cases, more extensive tree building or verification. Deliverables might include a more extensive tree, written reports, a narrative family history.
-
Project-based investigation for podcasters, documentarians, academic researchers, or other professional contexts. I can locate anything from living individuals to archival audio and footage.
